IMT is turning 30!
IMT’s 30th anniversary is about all that we have been able to achieve since our founding: the policies we have helped write and implement, the energy we’ve helped save, and the people who benefit from better buildings, lower costs, and cleaner air.
All this has been possible through cross-sector partnership with governments, real estate, nonprofits, and communities.
We are excited to celebrate our collective accomplishments in 2026, and to honor some of our most critical partners at a Fall awards ceremony in New York City.
For three decades, we have worked with our partners to bridge market gaps, correct regulatory misalignment, and, more recently, address social inequities.
Our vision for the rest of this decade is to continue that work with your help.
The Campaign
This year we will focus on 1) recognizing the many partners who have helped us get this far and 2) laying out a clear plan for how we realize our vision.
We will convene our network to honor our staff and partner contributions and leadership, and launch a new initiative to bring fresh talent into our field.
