As the Chief Program Officer, Shubhada Kambli manages all of IMT’s programs, including Community Engagement, Policy and Regulatory work, and Business Engagement.
Previously, Shubhada spent ten years leading results-driven environmental programs at the local, state and federal levels across the country. As Director of the Office of Building and Transportation Decarbonization and Senior Policy Advisor at the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Shubhada facilitated multistakeholder sustainability efforts for state facilities and supported strategic direction of Connecticut’s $700M ratepayer funded Conservation and Load Management weatherization and demand response programs. As Sustainability Director at the City of Hartford, CT, Shubhada worked with stakeholders across the community to implement projects related to the city’s climate action plan.
In each role, Shubhada has worked with exceptional leaders and teams to build multiple successful, data-driven initiatives in New England, Indiana, and Arkansas. Educated at Wesleyan, Tufts, and Harvard, Shubhada has advanced academic training in environmental health, design, and policy.
