Ella Wetlesen is IMT’s Manager of Business Engagement. In her role, she evaluates and investigates the challenges and opportunities to transform real estate practices, helping cities, businesses and investors meet aggressive climate goals.
Ella supports IMT programs such as the Network of High-Performance Building Hubs, Green Lease Leaders, the Landlord-Tenant Energy Partnership, and others. Ella has previously interned for the American Enterprise Institute as a Poverty Studies intern, was a Data & Policy Summer Scholar at the University of Chicago, and interned at Paz y Esperanza in Moyobamba, Peru, supporting indigenous land rights advocacy.
She holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Computer Science from Wheaton College.
